tranny swap?
Just playing around with an idea,
would it be possible to swap my 4 speed tranny from my 1977 f-250 with a 5 speed from a 80s-90s f-250 or 350? Will it bolt up to my FE motor?

It would depend on the bolt circle on the tranny(if your swapping from 351M400 or 460 to a 460 or somthing with same pattern then yes), but most likly it will not bolt easilly to it's mounts with out some kind of fabbing.
