NEed to replace Engine....Help Advice wanted
Need to replace the engine in a 1997 Expedition with 5.4L Any advice on good routes to go? Any upgrades or anything I should consider? Right now I figure I may be best off getting a rebuilt 5.4 or getting one out of a wrecked Expo. Any advice or ideas are appreciated though.

i would keep it stock. your best bet is to find a low miles wrecked expy,f series or x as the donor. the 5.4's are not rebuilt as they are unable to be rebuilt most of the time. so be careful of someone trying to sell you a rebuilt engine, there will be big problems down the road.
