fair price????
I have a 1968 f-100 short bed Love that truck. Have a chance to pick up a 1976 3/4 ton with 50,000 miles on it, from the original owner. His asking price is 4000.00 Would this be a fair price. It has a 460 with a c-6. Always garaged.

Is it 4wd, or just 2wd? If it has rust, not worth it, I don't think he would of paid much over $6k(new) for it to start with, and you might be able to talk him down alittle.
Find out as much as you possibly can, before you commit.
I was in a similar situation with my 79, but it didn't cost as much, it was all in the matter of knowing if I wanted it before I travled 4 1/2 hours to get it.
