I am thinking of buying a T600 Kenworth but am wondering about the gearing. It has a 475 cat motor with a 13 speed transmission, 3.08 rear ends, all setting on 22.5 low profile tires. My question is what rpm would the truck be running at 65 mph in 13th gear. I trying to get the best fuel milage possible thus the aerodynamic body style. It is a flattop also. I would be pulling flatbed freight and near gross weight, running in the central part of the country and west to California. Any suggestions or thoughts would be appreciated. Dave

Assuming your final transmission drive ratio is .87, and you have 275/80R22.5 tires, you will be turning 1500 RPM at 65 MPH. 1800 RPM would be 78 MPH.
You need to post the transmission number to be sure of the final drive. It could be a .73. The number will be like RTLO16913-A, or something similar.
