Question

Turbo MOD

Recently, an F-250 diesel passed me and all I could hear was what sounded like his turbo (whistle) was amplified. I’m curious what modification(s) was done to get this sound effect?

You might get better input if you post this in the Diesel forum here at FTE... go down to the 6.0 engine. THere's lots of info on mods to improve hp.

Most likely a High performance Ball Bearing turbo kit coupled with an open element air filter and 4" exhaust system
