what transfer case do i have
Hi just wondering what transfer case i have in a 93 ranger 4.0 engine and 5 speed tranny here are the numbers on the tag on the transfer case J1122 1354-13 next line is424545 F 27A-JA hope that means some thing to some one thanks.My 4X4 will not go into 4 wheel drive the light show it is in 4 wheel drive but it is not what could be wrong.The transfer case is low what type of iol do i put back in there? thanks

bw for borg warner. the electric pushbutton is just unrealiable, as it tends to go out at the worst time. put it in 4wd, put it in park and shut it off. get under the truck and try to turn the front drive shaft. if it wont turn, then the transfer case is engaging, but one of the hubs isnt. if it will spin, then more than likely it is the shift motor in the t case gone out.
