Remote Car Starter

I have been trying to find a reasonable remote car starter for my mother's car for Christmas. I was wondering if you guys had any experience with them. The car is an 89 Park Avenue.

Thanks,
Mudman

I don't know what brand mine is but, I've had it for about 6 years and it still works great. Only problem with mine is, my remote quit working and even when I changed the battery, it wouldn't work. My wifes still works just fine, original battery. It's been worth every penny.

I have read many posts on other boards about people loving the viper system.

I have the viper alarm in my car and like it also. But I did not want to spend that much on this car, since she may not have it too much longer and being it is an 89. Thanks for your help,
Mudman

DEI is a manufacturer who makes a lot of alarm and remote components for other companies. I've used a lot of their products in the past and always been very pleased. If you go to your local shop ask them about DEI and they'll know what brand name it's being sold under. The last one I bought was for my sister and I think only ran $89 on sale without the install fee. Remote start is sooooo nice.

I found a DEI Valet Remote Start/Keyless Entry at Circuit City for less than $60. I think I going to get this one, it seems like a pretty good deal.

Thanks guys,
Mudman
