ok, I have 79 f-150, 4x4, 4wd, I have a 460 in it with a C-6, I bought a c-6 off of a friend, and i figured it would be good, he said it was, but I put it in the truck, and nope, no good, takes a while to go into forward gears, and slips in reverse, so im lookin for a c-6 for the big block, or if anyone has a small block c-6, I am thinkin bout a windsor, or a late model GT engine........ I am looking for a GOOD tranny, so any input is appreciated
