carb adjustment

i have a 2100 two barrel the motor is running rich it is fouling plugs how do i adjust

Need more info. Was there a time when it worked right? Did it start this suddenly? Is it rich at idle, cruise, power, all? Gasoline fouling is unusual, though not impossible, but could it be oil? Is it engine temperature or air temperature related?

Sounds like the float may be sticking due to crud in the needle and seat or the power valve is possibly blown.

He probably means carbon fouling. Try backing out the idle mixture screws (under the front of the carb) out a half-turn. Maybe it's just time for a carb rebuild?

Backing them out would only richen the idle mixture even more.

backing them out richens it. you need to turn them in all the way then back them out 3.5 turns each. a rebuild kit is 13.00 i would do that.

Not really sure what I was thinking. LxMan1 is right; turning then in is the direction I was thinking of. Been one of those weeks...
