Police interceptor
How many differant police interceptor's did they make? sizes? Has anyone used this for 4x4 applications? What is the differance beyond a regular motor? I have a guy trying to sell me one. It is in a mid 80's LTD. I have not looked at it yet. I just wanted a little back ground info before i did. Thanks for any reply!

Im probably wrong, but if I remember right , in those years , the only thing different than a regular engine was a more open exhuast and a four bbl carb. Those were the years when they got real nasty with the smog devices. If you knew the exact year and engine displacement ,"I think they used 400's and 460s" and I think the "police interceptors had the 460", it might be easier for someone else on this forum to help,bob
