so i was playin some pool tonight and was sucking really bad b/c i am not at all used to bar tables...about 12 pm a kid asks if i want to play race to three 9 ball for 10$....i knew i was going to lose and i knew he was hustling but just for fun i decided to go ahead b/c whats 10 bucks? well he played just good enough to win...there goes 10 bucks.

so a guy i was with, we will call him fred, tells the kid how bout same thing for 40$...he quickly jumps on that as he had been watching us for 4 hours. during the 4 hours, fred played good but didn't unleash because he was just playing me friendly games...no need to bust it out. first two games go buy, fred blows them....the kid gets cocky. fred then cleans the table up the next two games. down to the last game. it comes down to the 8 and 9 ball...the kid gets nervous and blows a straight shot. fred then shoots for the 8 and somehow, unbelievably the 8 just bounces around in front of the pocket and does not go in. unfortunately the kid wins. and yes between the two of us, we lost 50 dollars...and though we lost, we came out smiling BECAUSE the last game and especially the last shot, the little lucky hustler was freaking out bad. he was shaking and had to study like crazy on his shots...even though we lost, and might i add because of a very unlucky shot, we were so happy to scare the living daylights out of this 19 yr old. his second to last shot he was tapping his fingers on the table as he lined up his shot....hopefully we put the cocky little crap in his place...

p.s. the guy at the door told us he had lost $300 over all throughout the night..
