I am in need of an upper shock mount for my '66 F100 2WD. The piece is triangular with a stud coming out of the side, in towards the center of the truck. Mine had been replaced with one that is narrower and smaller. It looks like they torched the holes (very ugly ). The truck sat lower on that side before I started taking it apart.
I went to the local junk yard, but the piece is riveted in place and I don't have a torch or portable tool to allow me to cut it off out in the yard.
So, I thought I would see if someone has an old frame hanging around and could pull it - looks like it is the same piece on later models, but not positive. If not, I'll pay for the junkyard guys to get it off for me. I need driver's side, although it may not make a difference.
