'92 f150 4.9L 4wd....came from the factory with stock 7.5"X15" rims. Does anyone know if 10"x15" rims will fit without any modifications? I currently have 31X10.50 tires on the truck and do not have any trouble at all.
Wow 10 inches wide I would get less backspacing than that. I bet with 4 inches you will still rub, it also depends on how wide the tires are too. Are you planning on going with some 14.50's or bigger? If not then those rims would be too wide. I know on my Jeep I ran 33x12.50s on 10 inch rims and had trouble keeping the beed when aired down at all. I went to 8 inches and never had a problem again.
Im looking for new rims myself after just recently selling my old topper. Unfortunatly, I just bought new 31x10.50 bfg tires two months ago. After I wear this set of tires out, i plan on going to a 33x12.5. Ive been looking at a set of 15x10 rims with 3-3/4 in backspacing. I think they will fit on the truck without rubbing (currently have 2.5 in of lift). Has anyone put 31x10.5 tires on 15x10 rims? will it work?
Thanks
I don't think they will work.I don't even know if you could seat the beads.I have 15x10's but I'm running 31-12.50-15 tires.I wanted to stick with31's so my gear ratio wouldn't drop.Tire guy for my rims it would either be 31-12.50's or 32-11.50-15.
