Integrated brake controller question
I have a 2005 Super Duty, it did not have the integrated brake controller factory installed. However, the wiring for the controller is there. I purchased one from the Ford dealer and all plugged in ok and worked, however the "upfitter"/ accessory switches come with the controller as a set, there is no plug to be found for it. Does anyone know where it might be hidden under the dash or is there an aftermarket plug/harness anywhere to purchase it to plug into the back of the upfitter switches so it can be wired into the fuse panel?

do you have the switch bank already if so then you need to order

if not get the kit for adding them from www.powerstrokeshop.com you can also find the above part there for $43.10 plus shipping
also how much did you pay for the brake controller and what is the part number if you dont mind me asking

I paid $180 from the Ford dealer for the controller, but I get a discount. After doing some searching on the net, I found that there is a (half cubby hole) for lack of better terms that will fit next to the brake controller. I didn't really need the switches I was just looking for something to cover the hole next to the controller and thought it all came as one unit when I ordered it. Anyway already talked to Ford, they will take the switches back and ordered the half cubby to fill my hole. Thanks for all the info.
