bad vibration
My 79 bronco has picked up a vibration only when I am on the gas, when I let off, it goes away. It also goes away at 45mph, then comes back at 50mph. I think it is coming from the rear driveshaft, or mabye the axle, it has a 3 inch lift also. thanks for any help,

When I had my 79 Bronco I put on 4.5 inches of lift on it. I had to have my driveshaft lengthened, the shop that did it screwed up. The splines were just slightly rotated from where they should have been, so I kept burning through u-joints all the time. I'd put a new one in drove nice & smooth for a while then start vibrating like crazy(took me a while to figure out why). Secondly, I had to have my spring perches cut off & rewelded to rotate the diff up towards the transfercase. I don't remember if that will be needed on just a 3 inch lift or not. Hope it helps.
