I have 3 78-79 broncos and a 96 F-350 and now im looking for something smaller that I can manuever a little more easily on the trails. I have always run fullsize trucks and I have never researched any smaller trucks. what year early bronco do you people feel was the best. When I say best, I am concerned about what year is the strongest, not the most rare and expensive either. If any of you know where I can find a 66-77 year-to-year listing of specs on these trucks, I would greatly appreciate it.
FYI- I just made thw switch to an EB from a '79 F250. I LOVE IT!!. My '79 was way more capable with lockers and 38's, but the bronco is so much fun!! The only thing I miss is being asked to pull someone out all the time- wait a minute, I don't miss that at all!!
The best EB Bronco is the one I own!!
Or the one you own!
My point is, if you own an EB it beats the hell out of wishing you did.
It's not what year, but what options it has.
Power stearing,
Dana 44 front,
Big bearing rear end,
No major rust, are the big issues!!
The only ******* year is the 66,
other than that they can all be modified with all of the running gear options you can afford or dream up!!
