Question bronco II plus???

a friend of mine has a bronco for sale...but it's not like any other bronco II i've ever seen, it's called a "Plus". this bronco has about 1 1/2 foot of more room in the back and about a foot more headroom. this is on the fiberglass back...not on the metal, but you can't take this off, it goes all the way to the bottom of the truck and is like part of the truck. it has a 2.8 with auto tranny and is four wheel drive. have you guys ever heard of one of these? it's the first one i've ever seen and i think it's pretty neat. he wants $350...is it a pretty good deal??

Mystery solved. the bronco II plus was one of a few modified bronco IIs that a INDEPENDENT company made and sold as a conversion vehicle. It featured a fiberglass rear and was about a foot longer. Other then that it was stock. There was also another one of these "independent company" bronco II which was the sherrard bronco II that had a completely removable roof.

Edit: found one more picture of the inside

if you do get it i would deffinatly put a helper spring on the rear end of it. the normal once sag bad in the rear.. the pic of the Plus looks likes it could pull the front tires off the ground if you gas it hard enough due to the added rear weight. (i know the picture is not the one your getting) safetly would be my main concern. though it is a cool looking concept.

you should look for a sherrard B ii i know alot of people make them by just cutting off the roof and making a sick looking bronco II mini pickup but the idea of being able to take the top off and put it back on its really cool get some pics if you come across one

i've never seen one before, i bet they are cool. yeah, the rear end sags on this one too, but i don't know if it's because of the new transmission in the back too.
