I tried to fire my 428 up today, but ran into fuel line problems( read, big friggin' leak), so it will need to wait until I get new hose from Summit. I guess I know what ONE of my Christmas presents will be!!!
On the bright side I was able to check/verify wiring, pre-lube the engine, install the distributor, spark plugs and wires, check MSD function( passed), and I now know the starter will crank it over.
There's nothing quite like gas leaking all over everything to make your day just perfect. At least everything else checked out o.k. When Santa is giving you the new line, tell him to bring me a radiator support, ok?
Well, the new line will be much easier to get compared to the core support!!! I replaced mine due to excessive rust(it fell apart!!!) and it took quite awile to locate a useable support. I still had to repair some of the replacement unit, especially at the bottom and change the radiator mounting to match my radiator.
