flywheel swapping
i bought my 78 f150 ranger from a salvage yard. all in all it is a great truck when you can get it to start. the truck was seriously out of time and took about three or four teeth out of the flywheel. i have a 351w for the truck but the inline still runs good with a little valve knock. the 351 flywheel is brand new, i would like to swap flywheels so i can build the 351 for the trails around my house. does anybody know if they will just swap out. thanks for any advice i love this truck i'm glad i saved it from the crusher.

No sir, the 300 I-6 Flaywheel is Neutral Ballanced, while the 289/302/351's have Ballance Weights stuck to them. 
So unless you wish to Sit inside a Mix-master while it's running, I'd go out & Buy a Good used one from your Local Truck Wrecking Yard.
