what's this?
I was checking the oil on the ranger and noticed this....what is it? My last 4.0 didn't have one like this....just curious...thanks

okay thanks... thats what i had thought at first, but my 03 didn't have it, or anything for that fact of matter on that side of the intake...

Some have egr's, some don't. Even with the 3.0's, some have, some don't.

Yeah weird they moved it too, mine isn't anywhere near there. It's down further. I'm with ranger88a, leave it to the government to tag more stuff along for the ride (and to break down...).
