Increases
I have been on this site and have read alot of posts and I still foggy on how the tuners affect mileage and if exhaust modifications can improve mileage. I have never really gotten any concrete information on wether these two strategies will increase mileage and if so to what degree.
If there is anyone out there that could help with some real info. I would appreciate it.

i dont have an exhaust but i gutted my catalytic coverter and i got a 1.5-2mpg increase and the superchip added a few mpg. i get between 16-18 ALL the time when im on highway or city. yes city. thats if you drive sane. i tow a big horsetrailer and i get about 15-16 on trips so thats real good. i dont know though your gains on mpg are different according on how you drive, what type of driving. but i must say gutting the cat is the best way to get better mileage for free only bad thing is its illegal but i think its worth it.
