If you pick up a set of full size Bronco seats from a 1980-1996 Bronco, they will bolt right into your truck with no modifications. Make sure you get the rails for the seats.

A nice alternative is the 40-20-40 seat. Buckets with a console in the middle that flips up to allow seating for three.

Ya theres two versions, twin buckets with a big center console - or twin buckets with a seat in the middle (40/20/40). I've had both in the two F-150s i've had - and prefer the 40/20/40. The center seat folds down to have two cupholders, and a little console with flip open door. It has coin slots and foam padding for sunglasses - etc.

The big center console is nice to have, but the cupholders arn't as good as the 40/20/40's and with the big glove compartment there's still pleanty of room even w/o the console.

If you want more storage w/o the middle seat - get that....if you don't mind a little less storage with a better armrest and cupholders - get the 40/20/40. Both of mine had lumbar for the lower back.

I don't mind the bench seat in my reg cab 89 but I hate the 92-96 bench seats. The 87-91's were way better.

And the older benches bolt right in... if you can find a clean one.

Also, there are 2 versions of the 40/20/40 seat as well. One version uses 3 tracks to mount the 3 different pieces. Driver, middle, and passenger. The other, which I have, has all 3 pieces mounted on one track. It also bolts right in using the same 4 bolt holes that hold in you bench. This ones good if you are like me and didn't want to drill new holes in the floor..... I swapped one in place of my bench.

Also, I stripped my 40/20/40 and washed the covers. made the seat look new. You'll never shampoo it this clean!. just took some patience and replacement hog rings to do it.

Replacement seats

I just noticed this string regarding seats...where can I find these 40/20/40 seats or anythinh other than the bench. What kind of truck am I lookimg for to see if the seats are correct...(when I'm calling around to different wrecking yards). I reallys don't want to drill holes if I don't have to but I have to get rid of this bench!
