Help comparing F250 & F350 frames
Regarding '78 & '79 models, does anyone here know:
1. What are the differences in weight, strength, etc on the F250 - F350 frames?
2. Other than the front crossmember and the steering box mounting location, what are the differences between 2x4 and 4x4 frames? Is there a difference in the width?
3. Does the 4x4 have a different "arch" than a 2x4?
4. Would a frame on a 4x4 F250, be any lighter or heavier than on a 2x4 F250? Same for a F350? (if anyone knows)
Lotsa questions I know, any help or advice most appreciated.
