Question Water Neck Shape?

What does the water neck on your year 6.9 or 7.3 look like? Does it exit straight up, out the side, at an angle...?

Two bolts or three?

Sounds weird, but I am planning on using one on something else (maybe).

Two bolts (5/16"), mounts on same angle as the pass. side head surface of the block, then goes straight up.

That tell you anything?

It Helps A LOT!

Thanks!

Two more questions, then I will leave you alone...

1. What year and model is this from?
2. What is the water neck's oulet (hose end) diameter?

I'm hoping for 2" but I suspect its 1.75".

Thanks,

Eddie

It's the same piece from 83-94 as far as I can remember. I would guess the hose is closer to 2". So what are you wanting to put it on, enquiring minds wanna know?

Let me think here, Nissan SD-33T I bet... In a Scout, or possibly a certain 91 F150...
I'll grab a couple pics of the neck on my 6.9 this afternoon.
Hose I think is 2"
