lincoln 462 help
I have a friend with a 1966 lincoln with a 462 engine that we are trying to find parts for. I know that this engine was only used in the lincoln and only for three years 66 67 68. Who are the brothers and sisters to this engine. who shares the block? Any info would be great.

I don't know which other Ford engines share parts with the 462, but I can tell you where to find parts: Lincoln Land in Clearwater, Fl. Here's their website:

If I remember correctly, the 430 is about the only other one. It's not a very common engine. I bought a '67 a while back and was going to put the motor in a truck but it ended up being too many differences so the motor is sitting in the garage waiting for the next project. Good luck.
