Cup Holder Question
I picked up a 2000 3L manual a few months ago and I've just figured out that I'm missing plastic pieces which are part of the cup holder in the center shifting area. These pieces essentially 'raise' up and prevent a cup from falling over/spilling. Otherwise, a typical cup/soda bottle will just flop around and end up on the floor because it has no side support. The cup holders are part of the center housing on the floor w/ the manual tranny. I stopped by both a Ford shop and Mazda shop and they couldn't find the part numbers for these plastic inserts only said that I'd have to replace the whole center island (too, too expensive for a $10 part). Can anyone either look at theirs for the part # or point me in a direction where I can get replacements. I'm tired of getting my pants washed w/ coffee.
