Google funny

Go to Google and type in "failure". See what link pops up at the very top. An Ironic funny, see what link is second.

Is this a bad thing? I did as you said and my name came up - that just can't be good. Especially since I beat out W. and Michael Moore.

Did you see the link at the bottom that explains how this happened? It's pretty good, apparently tons of people use the word "failure" or "misreable failure" as the link to Bush site. Google's computers see the large number of links that use the word or phrase above and list them in order. Pretty damn funny prank regardless of your political views.

This was done a couple of years ago, with "french military victories" and the I'm feeling lucky button.

I didn't even realize that the "I'm feeling lucky" button was still there. Between Google, in Firefox and scroogle, I haven't been to googles homepage in a long time.

That is pretty funny. I think there is a service that you can use to ensure your website is in the top ten. Doesn't cost that much, either.

This might shed a little light on why it appears...It's not really what you buy, but more or less those that are in control...ie Google themselves.
