i need help on an engine swap
i have a 78 ford f-150, and the motor is locked up and i am looking to put a 92 grand marquis motor in it, it is fuel injected, and i was just wondering if it is very hard to convert the 78 over to fuel injection or is it a waste of time?? and if so how would i do it??

Bradley, The engine swap is interesting, but why not fix the problem with your truck using easy to find, cheap, easy to install Ford stuff. Solve the problem. Later you can do the engine swap, or not.

It depends on how you are with electrical systems. Aside from the normal problems in an engine swap you also have to swap alot of the electrial system from the donor vehicle in this case. You'll need the computer, all of the sensors and the associated wiring. If you can get all of this stuff from a donor vehicle without having to buy it seperately its probably not that much more difficult tahn any other non standard engine swap.
