Problem please help!!!!
My 99 F250 psd kills for no reason at any time. It might be sitting at a red light or driving down the road, when it kills while i'm stopped it just cranks right back up and if it does it on the interstate you feel it miss. does anyone know what the problem is. P.S. my overdrive light on the shifter keeps flashing while i'm in stop and go traffic but stops when i am doing about 50 mph or above?

Yeah, they fail a lot. If that wasn't it, you needed a spare anyway.
I don't think a flashing overdrive light has anything to do with a failing CPS. But the missing and stalling sure point to it. So I think you might have more than one problem.

The flashing overdrive light might be from a bad VSS Does the speedometer jump around at the slower speed and level out above 50? When my VSS was bad my overdrive light would flash the same way. Just over 20 bucks at the dealer.
