Stewart is very knowledgeable as most of us x owners are. Reason being is because we need to keep em towing! You'll figure it out. Going to the stealership once will learn you fast. Now that you know how to work 4x4 properly.... Advice is hindsight.... Take my sarcasm for what it's for.... Speaking of repairs it takes about 5 mins a hub to swap out once you have done it a couple of times. I just replaced my alternator... 4th time and it took 11 mins and that included putting the tools away. Guy in advance auto parts was amazed..... Here's your core..... Already? Lol yeeeeep

Mile marker hubs are on sale at Summit for $89.

Mile Marker 449SS - Mile Marker Supreme Locking Hubs - Overview - SummitRacing.com

Looks like I need an conversion nut kit:

$163.44 total seems like a deal to me.

Only $89.50. This is where I bought mine, they went on easy and look/work great.I just used them yesterday for the first time and they worked flawlessly. it's 3/16' vacuum caps.
Did you need a nut conversion kit they list?

I've had MileMaker 449SS hubs on my X for the past 2 years and they have been fantastic.....

At $89, they are a steal....
