Jim any 73-77 column will work or as you say complete 78&79. I would look on Ebay, or at the salvage yards. Why do you need the complete column, is something broken?

Nothing is broke,just missing.The piece on the colunm that shows if you are in park,drive,etc...is not there.I have not gone through everything completely as of yet...I just wanted back in a Ford.This truck is what I could afford.Runs great!!New paint job...looks great.Just little things that I want to fix.

Jim, You can drive the truck withour that piece, PRND2L and you can feel all of that. Go to the junk yards and pull an indicator and pop it in.

there are 2 columns on ebay right now, one tilt will probably go for $150....one non tilt will probably go for $100 without a wheel
At a junkyard a column will prbably cost a hundred dollar bill, if you remove the indicator they will probably give it to you for nothing
