"After the New Year"...
After the New Year
When christmas lights no longer shine
And children tire of all their toys
When parents sigh over the bills
And all that is left is girls and boys
Do we wonder what we've done?
That our parents taught us so to do?
Is it so bad to spend so much -
To give gifts to those we knew?
In timeless time, there have been worse days
Lost people, travelling lost ways...
But we today have much to share
In our small homes, there is great care
LOOK YOU! For is that not your home?
And within it what is done?
By grace it is a shelter for your soul
And love becomes it, for everyone...
HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!!!!

Yeah it all adds up this year was supost to just a gift exchange bring a gift and go away with a gift. We ended up with alot more then just that. Its a shame that people forget that its all about Christ's birth.
And thank God that we have all that we do.
