Looking for a web linc
Hey all,
I was surfing one of the topics one day, and I found a linc to a web site that decoded VIN numbers.
Does any one know that web site.
It seems like it was something like medicin/?????.com?

For what vehicle ?
If it's for the 79, you're in the wrong forum.
This forum is for those topics that don't have a regular forum dedicated to it.
The 73-79 truck forum is for questions about these trucks.
Regarding your question though.

Hello Mil1ion,
Not for my 79, this was for my brother-in-laws ford truck, I am not sure what year his is.
Thanks for this info, I found this page the other day just surfing and printed it for myself and saved it to my favorites in the computer.
The linc I am looking for consisted of several fields for the codes on the door tag, and the tag on the rear end. All you did was key the codes into the proper field and mash the go button and the computer and the linc decoded all of it for you.
Sorry about not knowing what forum to place this in, but the topic was general automotive, and without any specifics on his truck. I thought the "General" forum would be where to put it. I will call him tomorrow and find out the year of his truck, and then ask one of the moderators to put this thread where it belongs. Once again sorry about the wrong location.

Hello again,
I found my linc through another forum. If someone can tell my how to attach it I will post it here for all to see. It has a really long name. I did a search on yahoo.com for ford truck VIN and it was about the 5-6 one down. I will try to spell this out it looks really weird
