What a great game that was! I knew they could win, but wasn't really sure if they would be up for the game enough to do it. Now if we could just get a little help from the Steelers, et al.
Now, if San Diego doesn't make the playoff, I hope that the Colts end up 18-1. Peyton Manning is one of the coolest guys in the league, and if any body deserves to win a championship, it's him.
Yeah, I was bummed. I wanted to see 19-0. But, the Chargers winning that game helped them more than it hurt the Colts to lose. Since the Colts are my local team, that's who I root for, but I like to watch ol' Drew Brees too, since he played nearby. That, and I think it's funny that Rivers is warming the bench and Brees is likely to get a longer contract.
Chargers out played them all day long, but seemed to me they kept trying to keep the Colts in the game with some real bone head moves. Sad to see the chance for a perfect season gone but the Chargers played a better game. I wish I could be proud that my Cowboys beat the Chargers in the first game of the year, but they are getting the (insert expletive here) beat out of them by the redskins right now. Oooff, it's like a car wreck, I don't want to look but can't help myself.
The Colts loss was a little disappointing cause i wanted to see the "perfect" season in my life time (my Broncos did the same thing in 98), although I think it will help them in there pursuit of a Superbowl ring, now they can rest there key players since home field is wrapped up.
i was under my daughters car all afternoon came in and the game was on the colts were losing, SWEET!!!!! don't care for the chargers but sure love to see the colts lose!
It was bound to happen before the year was out. Hopefully it's the only "off game" the Colts will play this season. That's all it takes sometimes....a great team happens to have an "off" day and a lesser team has a better day. If they really want to win it all they sure can't let that happen again.
BTW hawk...I would assume that you're a Patriots fan, being from Massachusetts, and I love to see the Pats lose! So I guess we're even...lol

As a Fin fan I like to see you both lose. Your right about the "off day". 73' Dolfins lost 2 and had a better team than in 72'. I sure do miss the Colts not being in the same division. I think the AFC East had the best teams and rivalry's than anyother division. Everybody hated everybody. Oh for the good ole day's.
Well if the chargers had'nt beat them the SEAHAWKS would've. So in the long run though it makes it easier for the hawks to win against the colts next week, only
because the colts probably won't play there starters but maybe one quarter.
I live in Indy and half to say that I was glad we lost Why? I like football but here our crime rate is up 18% drugs have taken over certain areas and it is getting worse daily and we are laying off police officers because we can not pay our bills, we are paying for a new stadium with tax dollars What is wrong with this country anymore.
I know its not the Colts fault. But what gives Is this country that messed up?
