6.9 lugs down pulling hills
85 F350 6.9 180k while driving home when the truck would start pulling hills it would bog down till about 55 mph or when I would let off the throttle it would start pulling againbut if it gets much over 55 it boggs down again only pulling when it tops the hill it does fine.But it seems as soon as I put a demand on the engine or load it cant take it almost like its not getting enough fuel I am thinking fuel filter or the fuel pump isnt delivering enough fuel to the Injector Pump for the high load..any thoughts???????

How long since the filter was changed?
Do you only buy fuel at high volume places?
How long since you have run some fuel system cleaner through it?
Is this a new problem or a new to you truck?

Gonna change the filter and its been awhile since any additives.after getting me home now it wont start at all just turns over not even a thought of firing and running..after turning it over pushed in on the schrader valve some fuel and air bubbles came out so gonna drop the filter and see if its full then look at the mech pump.no leaks of fuel noticed around injectors or the top of the engine

OK Change Fuel Filter and got it to start added some sea foam to tank and gonna go fill-er up and take her for a short ride to see if I cured the lugging down on hills or not...Will keep you guys informed and thanks for the input so far!!!
