brake upgrade

my rubber brake lines are worn and im afraid they wont last much longer. does anyone know of a good place to get braided ss lines. my truck is a 1979 F-150 supercab and is lifted 4 inches. thanks for the help

Since you have the 4" lift anyway I would get the Skyjacker brand extended brake lines. They are stainles but also have a clear plastic coat to protect them. www.ntwonline.com sells them along with a few other retailers. I'm using them on my truck and love them.

I went to a hydraulic line shop & had mine made to fit. Priced standard rubber lines at $50 each and had both made in stainless for $50 for the pair!!

What Ivan and 460 Crew said, or broncograveyard.com has some extened ss brake lines also, that are working for me pretty good.

I had mine made by inline tube. Regardless of which brand, braided SS is definitely superior to the rubber lines
