Tranny trouble, possible codes?

95 f-150 with the 351 and E4OD tranny. Tranny I think has gone bad. It slips through 1st and 2nd (although it will slip and grab hard, slip and grab hard in a pattern almost) and then once it hits 3rd its fine. I might also want to note that if I floor it during 1st and 2nd gear operations, I get a horrible shutter and grinding noise. Overdrive is fine also. Torque converter locks up as it should. I'm guessing 1st and 2nd are toast, what do you think?

So I decided to pull the codes. I got a couple operator error ones (brake switch, rpm change error (didnt floor it while test was running). During KOER I got code 632 which is Overdrive control switch not changing state. What does that mean?

Also, during KOEO, I got code 452, VSS or PSOM error (to put it in better words.) My speedometer bounces around like mad at high speed, which leaves me to believe that thats why I got that code. But why the 632 code? Not sure whats going on exactly, any help would be great.

Since the E4OD is computer controller and the computer gets its data from the PSOM which gets its data from the VSS, you need to fix that problem first. There's a good post on troubleshooting the system. Do a search and I'm sure you can find it.
(Sorry, no time to look myself)
