Blower will not kick on
Hey everybody,
I have a 05 PSD Crew that is giving me heat problems. Does anyone know if the blower on this truck is on a delay? I will run the truck for 20-30min at 45-50mph without the blower kicking on. The odd thing is that after about that amount of time, sometimes when I pull the parking brake release, the blower will kick on. This trick never works when the truck is cold however. Any help would be appreciated as I work outside and the past few days it hasn't gotten above 20f.

Do you mean the heater fan (blower)? Do you have the interior temperature on auto? If so at what temp? If the interior auto temp is set to low or if your engine temp is low the heater will not kick in until there is sufficient engine temperature. Can you provide more details on the truck, temp settings etc.? Maybe the easiest thing to do is to take the truck to a dealership to ensure everything is working properly. Hope you get heat!
