2000 4x4 psd tranny problem
Has any one experienced a problem with their auto tranny on the upshift from 3rd gear to OD? Occasionally mine seems to "freewheel" when prior to the malfunction, I sometimes depress the OD button to take the vehicle out of OD then back to OD. Soon aftewards if I'm accelerating with the OD button on it does not want to shift normal and seems to go into nuetral or maybe even somekind of convertor stall or disengagement of the trans. Only then, I have to move the shifter " while the vehicle is moving" into nuetral then back to 3rd the trans will engage and upshift. There must be something out of adjusment because is seems to react to throttle pressue.The truck pulls fine with a big trailer and is otherwise fine. It has been doing this ever since I bought it, but figured out if I go from 3rd to Nuetral it will operate normal. Any help would be appreciated
