Battery for an 05

Just bought a new 05 super cab 4x4 with a 5.4 and it had a bad battery in it. It may have been on the lot awhile. Anyway the dealer replaced it with a low maintenance battery and not a maintenance free battery. Is this correct? I am curious to what size and type of battery comes stock in a 5.4. Any help is much appreciated.

In my 2000 F-350 i just put the biggest Die Hard I could find. I figured the extra CCA's couldn't hurt any. I would love an Optima but can't justify the extra expense when what I have works just fine.
