63 pickup shift lever

hi i'm new to the board.have a 1963 f-100 292 4 speed trans 4x4 trans shift lever is giving me trouble.there's a little ball attached to lever that goes into transmission,the ball got loose when i try to shift into reverse the lever turns towards passenger door making very difficult to shift. any ideas on haw to fix it or is there any place i can get one?thank you in advance,

63 pickup shift lever

There should be a pin approx 1/4" in diameter and about 3/4" in long that should insert into a hole in the ball. It keeps the shifter aligned.
