heater control valve

i think the problem is the heater control valve
but i don't know were the vacume hose to heater valve goes
can any body help me

I know in my '87 E150 the vac controls a valve that controls the recirculator, but the heater control door is purely a mechanical cable. It was incredibly difficult to adjust.
