Going 4WD
I have recently started thinking about installing 4wd in my 2000 f250, have verbly secured front axle from the frame work down, my only ? is will a transfer case work on my 6 speed or would I have to change my trans, I was looking at my friends truck and his transfer case attaches strait to the tail of the trans, his is a auto. doesn't look like I have a tail shaft that is removable. am I missing something or will this mod not work on my truck?

Anyone who has REALLY thought about it has decided that buying a factory-installed one is a lot less hassle. Sell your 2WD and buy what you want.
I know that's not what you wanted to hear, but nobody is speaking up to it at all, so maybe there's something to it.
It's a LOT of work to do completely right.

pop is right there are major modifications to convert a 2wd into a 4wd and i dont know if it can be done or not on a psd. it would be a lot cheaper and less time consuming to sell yours and buy a 4x4
