Question Why

This has been bugging my why are there so many 1978-1979 bronco's located in Pennsylvania. What do they have more emision laws? Because ever time i find one it's in Pennsylvania.

western pennsylvania just change to emissions laws last year & any vehicle built after 1976 must have all the emissions equipment that was put on at the factory on & working. most people just don't want to put the money into tracking down the parts & playing the high prices for them, so they just get rid of the vehicle. thats how i picked up my 78 & 84 bronco's that i drive today both in excellent shape just had no emissions on them. u just have to know the right emissions station to take it to that will let it pass.
