installing power steering pump question

I HAVE A 1995 F150 FORD Is there a TRICK USING A PULLER TO GET THE DANG POWER STEERING PUMP OFF? WHAT A HORRIBLE DESIGN JUST TO GET TWO LOUSY BOLTS OUT FOR THE PUMP....I APPRECIATE A RESPONSE...THANKS RS

it is a special steering pump pully puller. you can rent them from a couple different auto parts sto.res. i've been told if you use a regular pully puller it'll bend the pully. i agree the set up is a little difficult. not too bad onceyou get the pully off. hope this helps, others will chime in shortly i'm sure.

KJG26 is right. I did mine and if you take your time and figure out the tool it may/may not give you a hard time. I cracked my pulley all to crap and had to buy a new one. But its a battle just like anything. Hope you get it.
