Hey whats my best option when ordering the tire/wheels
17,18,20's (F250 CC SB).
Radio and 6 cd changer, will this radio have the plug in for my XM radio.
Or should I just get the cheap radio and have it switched out. If I do that will the steering wheel controls still work for the new aftermarket radio?
Is the FX4 pacakage worth it?
Rebates, simple plan, do you think they will be higher or lower?
You can, at worst, get an adapter to use the AUX button on the radio for any peripheral. (the 05 requires the adapter as there are no normal inputs) The PIE adaptor simply plugs into the back of the radio and it provides RCA inputs.
I went with the 17 and will be changing them out to better after marke rims.
FX4 is mostly Rancho shocks and skid plates. I went with it because it wasnt that expensive and I thought it was easier than me trying to put the skid plates on. The shocks dont matter to me because I will be replacing when I lift.
FX-4: The shocks are Rancho 'branded', basically a mild version of a RS5000 gas pressure shock, the rest of the package is the same as the skid-plate package (transfer case and fuel tank). If you don't mind factory shocks it may be worth the extra cost to choose the FX-4 package over the Skid-Plate package.
I have found factory shocks perform poorly and always replaced them. I put Rancho 9000X shocks on both my trucks and the ride and control were/are improved.
