oil level high pressure pump?
I have a 97 Power Stroke. I was wandering if anyone could tell me how to check the Oil level in the High pressure pump? Also is there a way to check the glow plugs without removing the valve covers? In your reply please do not use abbreviations as I'm not sure what they all stand for. I appreciate any feed back.

On the top of the pump reservoir there is a small (1/4" NPT) hex plug. Remove that plug and look inside, the oil level should be within 1" of the top.
On the electrical connectors on the valve covers (2 on each side) the brown wires are to the glow plugs. Disconnect the connectors and ohms check the leads.
