power steering/hydroboost pump
I am new, so be easy on me. I have a 2002 f350 superduty and I have been having trouble with the powersteering/brakes (hydroboost system) when my truck is cold it vibrates and makes alot of noise. the local dealer replaced the hydroboost pump at the tune of 800.00 dollars. I returned to let them know that the noise was still there. The response was not what I wanted to hear. "it is normal" "they all do that"
has anyone out there had this trouble, please advise

How many miles are on the truck? I just did my ball joints at 175k and that helped the slow speed steering more than anything. The other thing that does help is flushing the old fluid out and replacing it with Synthetic ATF. Takes about 3 quarts. Once you flush it, leave the steering wheel all the way to one side overnight, then the other side the next night, and repeat for a few days to get all the little air bubbles out. Search the forums and there are several good posts on how to flush it.
