I took my truck into the dealer week before last because it was surging in the tow/haul mode. They reprogrammed the 6.0 and sent me on my way. Well it has no performance what so ever since they "fixed" it (and it still surges). It is way down on power and my fuel mileage has gone into the basement.
I have an appointment for tomorrow to get it "fixed" again. They told me that they cannot program it back to the way it was before because of NEW programming from FORD and that something else must be wrong with it. I think that this is complete BS. Just wonderind if somebody can confirm or deny this.
Hoping for some help before I take it in as I have zero confidence in my local dealer.
id check to find out what "flash" they have put into ur tuck on ur last visit. From what i understand the newest one is supposed to be the best since the original 03's first came out. I know when i bough my truck it had power, then i bough a predator. With this new flash i havent put the predator back in..........yet.......but it is a wholly different vehicle.
