whats the GVW on 79f350 4x4

Trying to find out what the gross vehicle weight is on a 79 f350 4x4 with dana 60`s in both ends. VA law states that if truck is manufactured with a GVW over 15000lb`s there is no height law. just lookin for some input on subject.

My 74 is 10K, the highest I've seen on an F-350 is 14000 on a dually.

You don't want that '79 F350 4x4 with D60's at both ends. Those are the worst trucks to have. You better let me take it off your hands. I'll even pay to haul it off.

Hey Oft, many people here at the Beach have told me you can register your truck with what ever GVWR you can pay for. It can make it legal at least on paper, but an inspection station or the police will ost likely catch it once the check the plate on the vehicle One last thing to try maybe is the dropped-tag bumpers, where the liscence plate is bolted to the center of the bumper which in turn is a section that is up too 2 feet lower than the rest of the bumper.

Kinda fruity, but its a legal loophole and people down here get away with it. There was a 78-9 F-250 (blue) that had 45" or so under its bumper, but the tags brought it down to legal height

EDIT: Crap, can't draw it, but you get the idea
